Azerbaijani FIFA referee Elchin Masiyev has been appointed to officiate a match in the UEFA Europa League league phase.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Masiyev will take charge of the Matchday 8 fixture between Denmark's Midtjylland and Croatia's Dinamo Zagreb. He will be assisted by fellow Azerbaijani officials Elshad Abdullayev and Parvin Talibov, while Kamal Umudlu has been designated as the fourth official.
The match between Midtjylland and Dinamo Zagreb is scheduled to kick off at 00:00 Baku time on the night of January 29-30. The game will take place at the MCH Arena in Herning, Denmark, as both teams compete for crucial points in the final round of the league phase to secure their positions in the knockout stages.
