Azerbaijan remains committed to actively contributing to the activities of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and further developing cooperation with member states on both multilateral and bilateral levels.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, Prime Minister Ali Asadov made these remarks during his speech at the meeting of the heads of government and the Vice President of the OTS member states.

The Prime Minister noted that during Azerbaijan's chairmanship this year, purposeful efforts will continue toward strengthening solidarity within the organization, expanding practical cooperation, and advancing common initiatives. "We are confident that as a result of shared political will, mutual support, and a pragmatic approach, the prestige and influence of our organization will further increase, and new projects serving the welfare of our peoples will be implemented. I believe today's meeting will be remembered for mutual understanding, effective discussions, and concrete results," Ali Asadov stated.

The Organization of Turkic States, established in 2009 as the Turkic Council, has evolved into a comprehensive platform for deepening ties between Turkic-speaking nations in fields ranging from economy and transport to culture and security. Azerbaijan has consistently played a strategic role in the organization, particularly in promoting the Middle Corridor trade route and fostering regional energy security. The current chairmanship allows Baku to further align the strategic interests of member states, including Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, while enhancing the geopolitical weight of the Turkic world on the global stage.
