The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has extended its official congratulations to the Republic of Uzbekistan on the occasion of its National Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry shared a congratulatory message on its official "X" social media account.
"On the occasion of the National Day of Uzbekistan, we sincerely congratulate the brotherly people of Uzbekistan and convey our best wishes," the statement read. "Azerbaijan, as a strategic ally, highly values its partnership with Uzbekistan and remains confident that our friendly relations will continue to strengthen further. Happy National Day, Uzbekistan!"
Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan maintain robust diplomatic ties rooted in shared historical, cultural, and linguistic heritage. As Turkic-speaking nations, both countries have significantly deepened their cooperation in recent years, particularly within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, focusing on trade, energy, and transportation connectivity across the region.
