President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a joint lunch in the city of Shusha on June 23.
The meeting took place within the framework of the Turkmen President's visit to the cultural capital of Azerbaijan. The two leaders engaged in a cordial conversation, emphasizing the strengthening of bilateral relations and cooperation between Baku and Ashgabat.
Shusha, which was liberated from occupation in 2020, has become a significant venue for high-level diplomatic meetings and international events. The city, known as the cultural heart of the Garabagh region, is currently undergoing extensive restoration and reconstruction efforts led by the Azerbaijani government to restore its historical and architectural heritage.
