Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Moldova's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi have commenced a bilateral meeting in Baku.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) shared the announcement on its official X account, noting that the high-level discussions focus on strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.
The meeting is expected to cover a wide range of topics, including energy security, trade turnover, and cooperation within international organizations. Azerbaijan and Moldova have maintained a strong partnership since establishing diplomatic relations in 1992, frequently supporting each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty in the international arena. This visit serves as a continuation of the active political dialogue aimed at expanding the strategic partnership between Baku and Chisinau.
