Participants of the "Development of entrepreneurship is a strong economy" event, held in Baku today to mark Entrepreneurs' Day, have addressed an appeal to President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the appeal was read on behalf of the business community by Sevda Alizada, the executive director of Malham International Hospital. The address emphasizes the continued cooperation between the state and the private sector to ensure sustainable economic development and further improve the business environment in Azerbaijan.
Entrepreneurs' Day in Azerbaijan is observed annually on April 25, established by a presidential decree in 2016 to highlight the vital role of the private sector in the country's progress. Under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has prioritized the diversification of the economy, focusing on the growth of the non-oil sector and creating a more competitive environment for local and foreign investors through various legislative reforms and financial support mechanisms.
