Today marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Ireland.
As reported by Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan shared a statement regarding the occasion on its official account on the X social media platform.
"Today marks the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Ireland. We extend our sincere congratulations on this important milestone in diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Ireland," the post stated.
The establishment of diplomatic ties between Azerbaijan and Ireland dates back to the early years of Azerbaijan's restored independence. Since the formalization of these relations, both nations have engaged in cooperation across various bilateral and multilateral platforms, including engagement within the framework of European institutions and international organizations. Such anniversaries serve as an opportunity for both countries to reaffirm their commitment to strengthening political dialogue and exploring potential avenues for economic and cultural collaboration.
