A new shipment of fuel from Azerbaijan to Armenia is scheduled for today.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, 42 railcars of diesel fuel are set to be exported to the country.
The train is scheduled to depart at 16:00 from the Guzdak station of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC. It will transit through the Boyuk Kasik station into Georgia, from where it will proceed toward its destination in Armenia.
This logistical operation highlights the complexities of regional energy transit routes in the South Caucasus. Azerbaijan, as a major energy producer in the region, frequently manages complex supply chains that traverse neighboring countries. Such shipments are often subject to strict regulatory oversight and international transit agreements, reflecting the ongoing efforts to maintain energy stability in the region.
