Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decree approving the descriptions of the unified uniform and insignia for private enforcement officers, as well as the identification badges for their assistants in Azerbaijan.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that according to the new regulations, the uniform for private enforcement officers is designed for daily use and consists of distinct summer and winter sets. The decree mandates that the clothing must be manufactured from high-quality, durable, and hygienic fabrics that meet health safety standards and are resistant to wear.
The winter set includes a baseball cap, an insulated jacket, a spring-autumn sleeveless vest, long-sleeved polo shirts, trousers (with options for skirts or trousers for women), and footwear. The summer kit comprises a baseball cap, short-sleeved polo shirts, trousers (or skirts for women), and appropriate footwear. The official insignia for private enforcement officers will be crafted from a combination of rubber and metal in a shield-like shape, featuring the officer's full name, registry number, and a QR code for verification purposes. These badges must be worn on the left breast of the uniform. Notably, these specific design requirements do not apply to state enforcement officers.
This move follows Azerbaijan's recent legal reforms aimed at modernizing the judicial and execution systems by introducing private enforcement services. The institution of private bailiffs is intended to increase the efficiency of court ruling executions and reduce the workload on state agencies. By establishing clear visual identification and professional standards, the Cabinet of Ministers aims to ensure transparency and public trust in the newly established private enforcement sector within the country's legal framework.
