Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mujtaba Khamenei has declared that the country's strategic foreign policy remains unchanged.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the leader shared these remarks on his X (formerly Twitter) account. Khamenei emphasized that the Islamic Republic will maintain its established trajectory regarding regional conflicts and its stance toward Western powers.
"The consistent policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, following the path of Imam Khomeini, consists of continuing 'support for the resistance against the Zionist-American enemy.' This course is carried out within the framework of loyalty to the ideas of the martyred leaders," Khamenei stated. The remarks underscore Tehran's commitment to its network of regional allies and its ideological opposition to the influence of the United States and Israel in the Middle East.
This statement comes at a time of heightened regional tensions and serves as a reaffirmation of the revolutionary principles established during the 1979 Islamic Revolution. By invoking the legacy of Imam Khomeini, the Supreme Leader signals to both domestic and international audiences that Iran's fundamental geopolitical objectives and its support for various "resistance" movements remain a cornerstone of its national security doctrine, regardless of external diplomatic pressures.
