Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has again invited US special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to visit Kyiv.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that Zelensky made the remarks while speaking to journalists.
“They saw how Kyiv lives; they saw that it is possible to fly [there]. I think we can try flying there again next time,” the Ukrainian leader said.
Zelensky also said he hoped US representatives would visit Kyiv more frequently to help maintain a balance between Russia and Ukraine.
Earlier, reports said that US presidential special envoy Steve Witkoff and US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner had offered Ukraine new terms for resolving the conflict.
According to Anna Skorokhod, a member of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada, one of the new terms was the constitutional recognition of territories under Russian control.
The proposed visits come amid ongoing diplomatic efforts involving the United States, Ukraine and Russia. US special envoys have been engaged in discussions aimed at exploring possible conditions for ending the conflict, while Kyiv continues to seek international support for its position.
