"YouTube" reklam bloklayıcı istifadəçiləri üçün şərhləri bağlayır

YouTube, the world's largest video-sharing platform, is tightening restrictions against users who utilize ad-blocking extensions. According to reports, the platform has begun implementing measures that limit access to core interactive features for those bypassing advertisements.

Operative Information Center-OMM, citing foreign media, reports that users employing such software are now unable to view the comments section or the video description box. User feedback indicates that when an ad blocker is active, the video description disappears and the comments section displays a "Comments are turned off" message; however, all functions are immediately restored once the extension is disabled.

It remains unclear whether this update is a deliberate technical restriction implemented by Google or a technical error resulting from how ad-blocking scripts interact with the site's updated code structure. Nevertheless, industry experts suggest this could be a strategic move to safeguard advertising revenue and encourage users to subscribe to YouTube Premium. In recent years, YouTube has significantly increased its efforts to combat ad blockers, previously introducing warning pop-ups and playback delays to ensure the sustainability of its creator ecosystem and business model.
