On July 30, Azerbaijan is expected to experience a significant rise in temperatures, with the mercury climbing as high as 39°C in some regions.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a forecast detailing the upcoming weather patterns. In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather is expected to be predominantly dry, with a moderate north-westerly wind occasionally intensifying.

Temperatures in the capital are forecasted to range between 24-26°C at night and 29-33°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is expected to be 761 mm of mercury, with relative humidity levels fluctuating between 60-70% at night and 50-55% during the day.

Across the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather is generally expected to remain dry. However, meteorologists have noted that some mountainous and foothill areas may experience intermittent rainfall. There is a possibility of short-term, heavy downpours accompanied by lightning and hail in isolated locations. Fog is expected in some mountainous areas, with easterly winds occasionally strengthening.

Temperatures in the regions are projected to reach 21-26°C at night and 35-39°C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will be cooler, ranging from 15-20°C at night to 23-28°C during the day.

High-temperature events in Azerbaijan are common during the summer months, particularly in July and August, when the country often experiences heatwaves driven by air masses moving from the south. The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors these fluctuations to provide timely warnings to the public and agricultural sectors.
