Absheron beaches to see temperatures up to 26°C on July 13

On July 13, the Absheron Peninsula's coastal areas are expected to experience a moderate north-westerly wind, according to the latest weather forecast.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service has released detailed temperature projections for the region's popular swimming destinations.

Sea water temperatures are forecasted to reach 24-25°C at northern beaches, including Sumgait, Novkhani, Pirshagi, Nardaran, Bilgah, and Zagulba. Meanwhile, southern beaches such as Turkan, Hovsan, Sahil, and Shikh are expected to see slightly warmer waters, ranging between 25-26°C.

The Absheron Peninsula, which encompasses the capital city of Baku, is a primary recreational hub for residents and tourists during the summer season. The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors these coastal conditions to ensure public safety and provide accurate data for beachgoers throughout the summer months in Azerbaijan.
