On August 4, weather conditions in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula are expected to remain dry, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

The north-eastern wind is expected to shift to a south-eastern wind during the day. Air temperatures will range from 23-26°C at night to 31-36°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will remain within the normal range at 760 mm Hg, while relative humidity is expected to be 70-75% at night and 45-50% during the day.
Across the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather is also expected to be predominantly dry. However, there is a possibility of brief, light rain and lightning in some mountainous areas during the day. Fog is expected in some mountainous regions during the night and morning hours, accompanied by a moderate eastern wind.
Air temperatures in the regions will range from 22-26°C at night to 33-38°C during the day. In mountainous areas, temperatures will be 15-20°C at night and 23-28°C during the day.
High temperatures during the summer months in Azerbaijan often prompt health officials to advise citizens to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak hours, and follow safety guidelines to prevent heat-related illnesses.
