Strong winds are expected to impact several regions across Azerbaijan on July 25-26, according to official forecasts.
The Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the National Hydrometeorology Service, reports that yellow and orange weather warnings have been issued due to the anticipated meteorological conditions.
A yellow warning is in effect for the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, as well as the districts of Gazakh, Ganja, Tovuz, Shamkir, Mingachevir, Dashkasan, Goranboy, Naftalan, Guba, Siyazan, Khizi, Gobustan, Aghstafa, Samux, and Kalbajar. In these areas, south-easterly winds are expected to reach speeds of 13.9-20.7 meters per second.
Meanwhile, an orange warning has been issued for Khachmaz, Gusar, and Shabran, where south-easterly winds are forecasted to intensify, reaching speeds between 20.8 and 28.4 meters per second.
