Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic arrives in Azerbaijan

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic arrived in Azerbaijan on May 17 to participate in the 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13).

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Serbian leader was welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Industry Vuqar Mustafayev and other official representatives.

The World Urban Forum (WUF) is the premier global conference on sustainable urbanization, established by the United Nations to examine the most pressing issues facing the world today in the area of human settlements. The 13th session in Baku serves as a platform for international leaders and experts to discuss urban development strategies and strengthen bilateral cooperation between participating nations. Azerbaijan and Serbia maintain strong strategic relations, characterized by high-level political dialogue and expanding economic ties in various sectors.
