Azerbaijan will make a further contribution to peace, development, and cooperation in the region through the implementation of the TRIPP project, President Ilham Aliyev said during a joint press statement with US Vice President J.D. Vance.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the head of state emphasized the expanding scope of bilateral relations between Baku and Washington. "We are opening a new chapter in our cooperation, including the sale of defense equipment. Regarding the establishment of artificial intelligence centers, this is now a part of our bilateral agenda. We already have preliminary results with leading American companies," President Ilham Aliyev stated.
The TRIPP (Trans-Regional Infrastructure and Power Partnership) initiative is viewed as a strategic cornerstone for enhancing connectivity between the South Caucasus and global markets. By integrating advanced technology and defense cooperation into the bilateral framework, Azerbaijan continues to strengthen its role as a key regional partner for the United States. This collaboration follows the strategic direction set by US President Donald Trump's administration to bolster economic and security ties with reliable partners in the Caspian region, ensuring long-term stability and energy security.
