Turkish law enforcement authorities have conducted a large-scale operation in the Adana region targeting individuals suspected of involvement in drug trafficking.

According to information from Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Haber Global, the police operation resulted in the detention of 70 individuals.

Following the initial detentions and subsequent legal proceedings, 58 of the suspects have been formally arrested and remanded in custody, while the remaining individuals were released under judicial control measures.

Adana, a major industrial and agricultural hub in southern Turkey, frequently serves as a focal point for law enforcement efforts to combat organized crime and narcotics distribution networks. The Turkish authorities continue to prioritize such operations to maintain public safety and dismantle illicit supply chains. Investigations into the case are currently ongoing.
