ABŞ İrana qarşı nə qədər xərcləyib? - Pentaqon rəqəmi açıqladı

The United States military expended approximately $5.6 billion on munitions during the first two days of military operations against Iran, according to official data.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the US administration released these figures as part of an assessment of recent regional engagements. Following this significant expenditure, the administration is expected to submit a request to legislators this week for tens of billions of dollars in additional emergency military funding to replenish stockpiles.

The Pentagon's internal assessments have reportedly raised concerns among some lawmakers regarding the pace at which the US military is consuming its most advanced weaponry. Critics suggest that such high-intensity operations could potentially strain the national defense industrial base. However, Sean Parnell, the Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs, dismissed these concerns, stating that the US military "has everything it needs to perform any mission, anytime, anywhere."

This financial disclosure comes amid a period of heightened geopolitical tension in the Middle East. Under the leadership of US President Donald Trump, Washington has maintained a policy of maximum pressure and rapid response to perceived threats in the region. The scale of the spending underscores the high cost of modern precision-guided warfare and the logistical challenges of maintaining long-term military readiness during active confrontations.
