Traffic congestion has been reported on several major roads across Baku, causing delays for commuters during peak hours.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has issued an official update regarding the current traffic situation in the capital of Azerbaijan.
As of the latest report, heavy traffic density is observed in the following locations:
- 8 Noyabr Avenue, from the intersection with Suleyman Ahmadov Street towards the city center;
- Babek Avenue, in the direction of the city center;
- Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, from the intersection with Muzaffar Narimanov Street towards the "20 Yanvar" metro station;
- Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 Yanvar" metro station;
- Tbilisi Avenue, from the "20 Yanvar" metro station towards the city center;
- Ali Mustafayev Street, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue.
The Intelligent Transport Management Center, which operates under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, continuously monitors traffic flow in Baku to optimize urban mobility. These congestion reports are part of the agency's ongoing efforts to inform the public about road conditions and assist drivers in planning their routes more efficiently amidst the city's expanding infrastructure.
