Nikol Paşinyan: Ermənistanda səslər saxtalaşdırılmayacaq

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated that the people will be the ultimate victors in the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7, asserting that the integrity of the vote will be fully protected.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Pashinyan made these remarks during a meeting with citizens in the village of Parakar, located in the Armavir region. The Prime Minister is currently on leave to participate in the official election campaign.

Addressing the crowd, Pashinyan emphasized that regardless of the specific outcome, the democratic process would prevail because the voices of citizens will not be stolen or distorted. He urged voters to head to the polling stations on June 7, 2026, to exercise and defend their sovereign authority. The Prime Minister further highlighted that the central theme of the elections is regional stability, stating that peace has been established and the primary task remains its preservation.

The election campaign in Armenia officially commenced on May 8 and is set to conclude on June 5. A total of 19 political entities, including two electoral blocs and 17 political parties, are competing for seats in the legislature. These elections are viewed as a critical juncture for the country's domestic stability and its ongoing efforts toward normalizing relations within the South Caucasus region, particularly following the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity in Garabagh.
