According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the scoring continued in the second half with Imad Faraj finding the net in the 47th minute, followed by a late strike from Breno Almeida in the 83rd minute to seal the three points for the hosts. With this result, Neftchi maintains its fourth-place standing in the league table with 53 points, while Shamakhi remains in eighth place with 35 points. In other league action, Turan Tovuz defeated Karvan-Yevlax 1-0, while the match between Gabala and Garabagh ended in a 1-1 draw.
