A total of 1,286 Palestinians have been killed during the ongoing ceasefire period in Gaza, according to recent data.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that, based on a statement from the Gaza government's media office, the ceasefire—which has been in effect since October 10, 2025—has been violated by Israel 4,379 times over a 315-day period.
According to the report, these violations have resulted in 1,286 deaths and 4,257 injuries, with 180 individuals taken hostage. Furthermore, it is estimated that over 8,000 people remain trapped under the rubble, while the bodies of 813 victims have been recovered from destroyed structures.
The report also highlights severe restrictions on humanitarian aid. Out of 189,000 planned aid truck deliveries, only 66,607 have successfully entered Gaza. The Gaza government has held Israel responsible for the deepening humanitarian crisis and has called on international mediators to increase pressure to ensure compliance with aid agreements.
Regarding ongoing negotiations, the report notes that Hamas has accepted a roadmap for the second phase of the ceasefire. Conversely, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly rejected a 15-point peace plan, further complicating diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict.
The conflict in Gaza remains one of the most pressing issues in international diplomacy, with various global powers and regional actors attempting to broker a sustainable peace. The humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate as international organizations warn of a looming famine and the collapse of essential infrastructure in the enclave.
