US President Donald Trump has announced that he requested the postponement of his planned official visit to China.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the president made this statement during a conversation with journalists at the White House, with the speech broadcast by "LiveNOW from Fox."

US President Donald Trump noted that he requested to delay the visit to the Chinese capital, Beijing, by approximately one month due to the current military operations against Iran. "We are in talks with China. I would like to go, but because of the war, I want to be here; I feel I should be here. Therefore, we asked to postpone the meeting for about a month," he stated, adding that relations with China remain very good.

The visit was originally scheduled to take place from March 31 to April 2. This diplomatic rescheduling comes amid heightened geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, where the United States has intensified its military stance. Historically, high-level state visits between Washington and Beijing are critical for discussing global trade, regional security, and bilateral economic policies. The postponement highlights the current administration's priority on direct oversight of military engagements and national security matters during active conflict periods.
