The Management Skills exam, the final round of the in-person stage of the VI Yüksəliş competition, has been successfully conducted.

This information was provided to Report by the Working Group of the Yüksəliş competition.

The exam was organized in two sessions at the Electronic Examination Center of the State Examination Center (SEC). A total of 1,468 candidates, who successfully passed the analytical thinking exam, earned the right to participate in this management skills assessment.

The Management Skills exam consisted of three components: "Fixed situation-based tasks," "Branching situation-based tasks," and an "Emotional Intelligence" assessment tool. Participants were presented with a total of 120 tasks, with the exam lasting four hours.

In line with international assessment principles, the Yüksəliş competition provided a remote examination option for participants residing abroad. These candidates took the exam online using proctoring methods, with modern technological solutions employed to ensure security and transparency throughout the process.

Exam results will be calculated using the T-scale method. This evaluation technique, commonly used in international exams such as TOEFL, GMAT, and SAT, allows for a more objective, comparative, and fair assessment of participant performance. Results will be provided to participants in the form of a report within 5-7 business days.

Candidates who successfully complete the in-person stage will qualify for the semi-final round of the VI Yüksəliş competition. The winners of this year's competition will be determined following the conclusion of the semi-final and final stages.

It is worth noting that the VI season of the Yüksəliş competition saw a record number of applications, with 17,651 candidates registering. Of these, 6,112 participated in the analytical thinking exam, leading to the 1,468 candidates who advanced to the final round of the in-person stage.

The Yüksəliş competition was established by a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on July 26, 2019. The competition aims to identify and support talented, high-potential managers. Winners receive a one-year individual development plan from mentors and a cash prize of 20,000 manats for self-development.
