"Sabah"-"Orhus" matçının hakimləri dəyişdirildi: Yeni təyinat

The officiating team for the UEFA Conference League third qualifying round return leg between Azerbaijani club Sabah and Danish side Aarhus has been changed.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, UEFA initially appointed a Portuguese refereeing team led by Joao Pinheiro to officiate the match, but has subsequently revised this decision.

The match, which will take place in Baku, will now be officiated by a team from France led by Willy Delajod. He will be assisted by Erwan Finjean and Valentin Evrard, with Eric Wattellier serving as the fourth official. The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) will be Bastien Dechepy, with Nicolas Rainville serving as the Assistant VAR (AVAR).

It should be noted that the Sabah vs Aarhus match is scheduled for August 11 at 20:00 at the Bank Respublika Arena. In the first leg, the Danish representative secured a 2-1 victory.

The UEFA Conference League, introduced in 2021, serves as the third tier of European club football, providing clubs from across the continent with increased opportunities to compete in international tournaments. For Azerbaijani clubs like Sabah, participating in these qualifiers is crucial for gaining international experience and improving the country's UEFA coefficient ranking.
