İlham Əliyev: TDT-yə üzv ölkələr arasında heç bir problem və anlaşılmazlıq yoxdur

There are no problems or misunderstandings between the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), and bilateral relations remain at a high level, President Ilham Aliyev said.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev made these remarks during a meeting with the heads of government and vice presidents of OTS member states in Baku. The President emphasized that the shared vision of the member and observer states ensures a bright future for the organization, aiming to strengthen its role on the global stage.

"The uniqueness of our organization lies in the fact that relations between member countries are excellent in bilateral formats as well. This is a rare occurrence among international organizations, where conflicts or disagreements often exist between members," President Ilham Aliyev stated. He noted that the mutual respect, support, and goodwill shared among the Turkic states are collective values that must be preserved and passed down to future generations.

The President further highlighted that the organization possesses all the necessary components to become a global actor, including ethnic roots, a vast geography, significant energy resources, and strategic transport routes. He pointed out that the geographical location of the member states has become an indispensable factor in international logistics, further strengthened by ongoing domestic investments in infrastructure.

The Organization of Turkic States, formerly known as the Turkic Council, was established in 2009 as an intergovernmental organization with the primary objective of promoting comprehensive cooperation among Turkic-speaking states. Headquartered in Istanbul, the organization has recently intensified its efforts to integrate economic, transport, and security policies among its members, which include Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan, with Hungary, Turkmenistan, and Northern Cyprus as observers. The strategic importance of the "Middle Corridor" transport route remains a central pillar of the group's current economic agenda.
