Azerbaijan's financial and economic situation remains stable, with the national currency maintaining its value for nine consecutive years, President Ilham Aliyev said.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the head of state made these remarks during his speech at the Azerbaijan-Czech business forum. Highlighting that the exchange rate has remained unchanged since 2017, with the US dollar fixed at 1.7 Azerbaijani manats, President Ilham Aliyev stated: "I believe this is an important indicator for any local or foreign potential investor."
Economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic has seen steady growth, with both nations seeking to expand ties in energy, agriculture, and high technology. The stability of the Azerbaijani manat, backed by the country's substantial foreign exchange reserves, remains a cornerstone of the government's strategy to ensure a predictable environment for international partners.
