Israel has destroyed 80 Hezbollah facilities in southern Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have conducted a series of targeted operations resulting in the destruction of over 80 Hezbollah infrastructure sites, Operative Information Center-OMM reports citing an official statement from the IDF.
According to the military's press service, as part of forward defense operations, troops from the 300th Brigade of the 146th Division continue their mission to neutralize Hezbollah terrorist targets in southern Lebanon. Over the past week, forces successfully dismantled more than 80 terrorist infrastructure sites and eliminated two militants emerging from one of the facilities in the area.
The escalation comes amid heightened regional tensions as the Israeli military seeks to degrade the operational capabilities of Hezbollah along its northern border. These operations are part of a broader strategy to secure the border region and prevent cross-border incursions. The ongoing conflict has drawn significant international attention, with global powers calling for restraint to prevent a wider regional war in the Middle East.
