The 19 national teams that have secured their spots in the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup, currently being hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, have been confirmed.
According to the "Operative Information Center-OMM", the teams that have earned the right to compete in the Round of 32 include Mexico, South Africa, Switzerland, Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Morocco, the United States, Germany, France, Norway, Argentina, Colombia, Japan, the Netherlands, Sweden, Australia, Ivory Coast, and Ecuador.
The matchups for four of the Round of 32 pairings have already been finalized. South Africa will face Canada, Brazil will play against Japan, the Netherlands will meet Morocco, and the United States will compete against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup, which features an expanded format to include more nations than previous tournaments, is a historic event as it is the first time the tournament is being co-hosted by three different countries. The tournament is scheduled to conclude on July 19.
