The death toll from Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has risen to 72,553, according to reports from international media outlets.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Israeli army has continued its operations in the Gaza Strip despite the current ceasefire. In the last 24 hours alone, hospitals in Gaza received two fatalities and 22 injured individuals.

Since the ceasefire officially took effect on October 10, 2025, the conflict has resulted in 777 deaths and 2,193 injuries, while 761 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble. Total injuries since the beginning of the escalation have reached 172,296, with thousands of victims still believed to be trapped under collapsed buildings across the territory.

The ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip has prompted repeated calls from the international community for a sustainable resolution. Azerbaijan has consistently advocated for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in accordance with international law and relevant UN resolutions, emphasizing the importance of peace and security in the Middle East. The scale of destruction has led to significant challenges for emergency services and medical facilities operating in the region.
