The United States aims to deepen its strategic relationship and strengthen bilateral partnerships with Azerbaijan as part of its broader foreign policy objectives, US Vice President James David Vance stated during a press conference in Baku following his meeting with President Ilham Aliyev.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Vice President emphasized the importance of collaboration in fostering stability within the region. He noted that this partnership is designed to ensure peace, security, and expanded market access, creating an environment where nations prioritize cooperation over conflict. "This is the goal set for us by US President Donald Trump. We are implementing this vision and striving to support one another through such high-level engagements," Vance added.

The visit underscores the growing diplomatic and economic ties between Washington and Baku, particularly regarding energy security and regional connectivity in the South Caucasus. Azerbaijan continues to play a pivotal role as a reliable partner for the West, contributing to international energy markets and participating in various global security initiatives. This meeting in the capital follows a series of high-level dialogues aimed at finalizing a sustainable peace framework in the region and enhancing trade routes between Europe and Asia.
