On September 7, maintenance work will be carried out on transformer substations in Baku, as well as on 10 kV overhead power lines in the Goychay and Yevlakh districts, to enhance the quality of electricity supply and meet rising demand.

According to the "Operative Information Center-OMM", this information was officially released by Azerishig OJSC.

In the service area of the Yasamal District Power Supply and Sales Department in Baku, electricity supply will be restricted from 10:00 to 13:00 on parts of Abbas Mirza Sharifzade, Abdulla Shaig, Azad Mirzayev, Mohammad Khiyabani, 7th Sallaqxana, and Taghi Shahbazi streets. Additionally, power will be temporarily suspended in parts of the Cayirli, Chayarxi, and Kurdamish villages under the Goychay Electric Network from 10:00 to 17:00, and in the Kovar village area under the Yevlakh Electric Network from 10:00 to 13:00.

These planned interruptions are part of ongoing infrastructure upgrades managed by Azerishig OJSC, the state-owned utility responsible for electricity distribution across Azerbaijan. Such maintenance is essential for modernizing the national grid, reducing technical losses, and ensuring a more stable and reliable power supply for residential and commercial consumers. Once the repairs are completed, subscribers in these areas are expected to receive higher quality and more sustainable electricity service.
