According to reports, the Bundesliga side has canceled a planned farewell ceremony for the 21-year-old, which was originally scheduled for the final home match of the season.
Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the German publication Bild, reports that RB Leipzig management is now keen on retaining the midfielder following his impressive performances in the second half of the campaign. Gruda, who joined on loan from English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion, has recorded three goals and three assists in 12 appearances this season. Brighton currently values the talented youngster at approximately €30 million, and negotiations are expected to include options for a permanent transfer or an extended loan with a purchase obligation.
