The State Examination Center (SEC) of Azerbaijan has announced that university entrance examinations for the I and IV specialty groups will be held on June 7.
According to information provided by the SEC to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the exams will also include a geography test for applicants who have selected both the DT and TC subgroups within the III specialty group.
The examinations will be organized in Baku, Khankendi, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Shamkir, Aghstafa, Gazakh, Sumgait, Absheron, Shamakhi, Mingachevir, Sheki, Zagatala, Barda, Goychay, Ujar, Kurdamir, Shirvan, Sabirabad, Salyan, Lankaran, Jalilabad, Guba, and Khachmaz.
The exams are scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM. Access to the examination centers will close at 09:45 AM, 15 minutes before the start time, and late arrivals will not be permitted entry.
Applicants must bring the following documents to the exam:
- Examination admission ticket;
- Original identity document.
a) Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (including those under 16) must present their ID cards;
b) Foreigners and stateless persons must present their residence permits issued by the State Migration Service, while foreign citizens with refugee status and their family members must present their refugee cards;
c) Participants without a photograph on their ID card must also provide a certificate issued by their educational institution, featuring a 3x4 cm photograph stamped and sealed by the institution.
To facilitate the process, 212 examination centers and 3,803 exam halls have been designated across the country. The administration of these exams will involve 212 general exam supervisors, 605 exam supervisors, 4,716 invigilators, 673 admission control staff, and 212 building representatives.
A total of 51,690 applicants are expected to participate: 33,986 for the I specialty group, 6,518 for the IV specialty group, and 11,186 for the geography exam within the III specialty group.
The SEC has also ensured inclusive conditions for 65 applicants with disabilities, including those with visual impairments, cerebral palsy, and hearing impairments. Special halls have been allocated for their convenience, and individual supervisors have been assigned to assist those with significant visual impairments. Furthermore, accessibility measures have been implemented to ensure ease of movement for applicants with limited mobility.
