The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has officially extended its congratulations to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the occasion of its Independence Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the ministry shared a formal message on its official "X" (formerly Twitter) account to mark the occasion.
"We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the brotherly people and Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the occasion of Independence Day. Happy Independence Day, Pakistan!" the statement read.
Azerbaijan and Pakistan maintain strong diplomatic ties, characterized by a deep-rooted strategic partnership and mutual support on critical international issues. The two nations have consistently demonstrated solidarity, particularly regarding matters of territorial integrity and sovereignty, fostering cooperation across political, economic, and defense sectors.
