The State Service for Protection, Development, and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been named the winner in the "Best Public Sector Innovation in Heritage Preservation" category in an international competition organized by the prestigious British publication, Global Brand Magazine.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the award was presented to the State Service based on several key criteria, including the creation of the "Unified Culture Registry" information system and the integration of data on more than 3,000 examples of immovable cultural heritage into a single digital platform. The large-scale inventory and assessment of historical and cultural monuments in Garabagh and East Zangilan were of particular importance in the selection process. The application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), drone and satellite technologies, and the "MyCulture" unified personal cabinet system for digital applications were highlighted as significant achievements in forming a transparent, efficient, and citizen-oriented public service model.

In the "Public Sector" category, awards were also presented to other prestigious global entities, including the Cabinet of Ministers of Japan, the German Federal Employment Agency, the UK National Health Service, the Singapore Government Technology Agency, and the Israel National Cyber Directorate. This recognition confirms the growing influence of the State Service in the field of cultural heritage management and the application of global technologies. It serves as an international validation of the institutional transformation, digitalization, and modern public service models being implemented in Azerbaijan to protect its historical legacy.

Global Brand Magazine is considered one of the world's leading platforms for evaluating organizations active in public administration, innovation, corporate transformation, and institutional development. This international success demonstrates that Azerbaijan's state policy regarding cultural heritage is built on firm traditions, advanced management, and sustainable development principles. The recognition further underscores the country's commitment to restoring and documenting historical sites in the liberated territories of Garabagh, ensuring their preservation for future generations through cutting-edge technological solutions.
