The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has issued a weather warning, forecasting unstable conditions across several regions of the country. Intermittent precipitation, accompanied by lightning, is expected to persist until the daytime of July 9.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the National Hydrometeorological Service has alerted the public that rainfall may become intense in certain areas. There is also a probability of hail, particularly in the northern and western regions, where wind speeds may increase.
Authorities have warned that the expected heavy rainfall could lead to a rise in water levels in rivers, with a high probability of short-term flash floods occurring in some mountain rivers. Residents and relevant services are advised to take necessary precautions against the potential risks posed by these weather conditions.
