Today marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Plurinational State of Bolivia.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan commemorated this milestone with an official statement posted on its "X" (formerly Twitter) social media account.
"On this significant day, we extend our sincerest congratulations to the friendly people and government of Bolivia, and we look forward to the further development of bilateral cooperation between our countries," the statement read.
The establishment of diplomatic ties between Azerbaijan and Bolivia dates back to the early years of Azerbaijan's restored independence. Since then, the two nations have maintained a relationship based on mutual respect and dialogue within international platforms, including the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement. While geographically distant, both countries have sought to explore avenues for collaboration in various sectors, including political dialogue and multilateral cooperation, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening international partnerships.
