A 60-year-old resident, Sahib Ibrahimov, has been arrested in Shabran on charges of illegally cultivating drug-containing plants.
According to information provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Quba regional group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) press service, the arrest followed a targeted police operation.
During an inspection of the suspect's private property, authorities discovered and seized cannabis plants with a total weight of 10 kilograms that were being cultivated and maintained on the premises.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. By court decision, a preventive measure of detention has been selected for S. Ibrahimov, and investigative measures are currently ongoing.
