Ukrainian drones have targeted and struck the Tamanneftegaz oil and petroleum products export terminal in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the General Staff of Ukraine released details of the operation on its official Telegram channel.
The facility specializes in the transfer of oil, petroleum products, and liquefied petroleum gases from reservoir parks for subsequent loading onto sea vessels. The terminal plays a critical role in ensuring the export of Russian oil and supports the logistical capabilities of the Black Sea Fleet. Its proximity to the Crimean Bridge further enhances its strategic importance in the supply chain for the Russian military forces.
Several explosions were recorded as a result of the drone strike, and the detailed consequences of the hit are currently being clarified. Additionally, the General Staff reported that a Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile system was successfully struck in Crimea during the same operational window. Such strikes on energy infrastructure are increasingly becoming a focal point of the ongoing conflict, aimed at disrupting the logistical and economic foundations of military operations in the region.
