A serious road accident has occurred in Turkiye: More than 10 people were injured following a collision between a passenger bus and a truck.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing Haber Global, that the incident was recorded on the section of the Ankara-Samsun highway passing through Amasya province.
Emergency rescue teams and ambulances were immediately dispatched to the scene. According to preliminary information, 11 passengers on the bus sustained various degrees of injuries and were promptly transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. Local authorities have confirmed that an investigation into the causes of the accident has been launched.
The Ankara-Samsun highway is one of Turkiye's primary transportation arteries, connecting the capital with the Black Sea region.
