According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the controversy began after video circulated on the social media platform X, featuring conservative activist Jay Bhattacharya and an associate, Jaymie Franklin. During a speech by National Institutes of Health Director Jay Bhattacharya, President Trump appeared to close his eyes and lower his head for several seconds. At that moment, Franklin, standing behind the President, placed a hand near the President's back. Immediately afterward, Trump opened his eyes and straightened up, prompting internet users to theorize that Franklin had pressed a hidden button to alert or stimulate the President.
Franklin addressed the conspiracy theory on social media with a humorous rebuttal, stating, "I am just pregnant, you weirdos."
