Exiled Prince Reza Pahlavi has called for continued pressure on Iran's ruling system, stating that the current leadership has significantly weakened.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that in an interview with Fox News, Pahlavi emphasized the critical importance of creating conditions for widespread public protests to challenge the authorities in Tehran.

According to the report, Pahlavi noted that while the regime is in a weakened state, it has not yet reached the point of total collapse. "I don't think anyone can breathe easy as long as this regime exists. The regime has been weakened, but it has not reached the point of collapse; there are still parts of the system that remain active and must be addressed and targeted. When the regime is on the verge of collapse, the people will be ready to take matters into their own hands," he stated.

The prince added that coordinated action and international support are essential for the success of the movement. According to him, "This must be a coordinated campaign. We will do our part as a nation, but we need foreign support. This support has started, but it must not stop halfway." Pahlavi also highlighted that the Iranian leadership is not inclined toward negotiations and believes the current system is incompatible with the free world.

The statements come at a time of heightened geopolitical tension in the Middle East. Reza Pahlavi, the eldest son of the late Shah of Iran, has long been a prominent figure in the Iranian opposition abroad, advocating for a secular democracy. His calls for increased pressure align with the "maximum pressure" strategy often discussed in Western political circles, particularly as US President Donald Trump continues to shape American foreign policy toward Tehran since taking office in January 2025. The international community remains closely focused on the internal stability of Iran and its impact on regional security.
