Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijan Investment Holding Ali Asadov has decided to dismiss Ruslan Alikhanov as chief executive officer and a member of the holding’s Management Board, based on a recommendation from the board’s chairman.
"Operative Information Center-OMM" reported the decision, citing the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to the report, Alikhanov’s deputy, Dayanat Sadullayev, has been temporarily appointed acting chief executive officer.
Relevant instructions have been issued to the holding’s Management Board in connection with the decision.
Sadullayev is also deputy chief executive officer of PASHA Holding LLC and president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Azerbaijan (AmCham Azerbaijan).
The Azerbaijan Investment Holding is a state-owned entity established to improve the management and efficiency of state-owned assets and companies. Its Supervisory Board oversees the holding’s strategic direction, while the Management Board is responsible for its day-to-day operations.
