The Russian Ministry of Defense has released an update on the ongoing military operations in Ukraine, claiming that its forces have taken control of two additional settlements.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that according to the ministry's official statement, the Russian military has made advances in different directions of the front line.
The report states that units of the North military group captured the settlement of Sidorovka in the Sumy region. Simultaneously, units of the West military group reportedly took control of the village of Glushovka in the Kharkiv region. This follows a statement from the Ministry of Defense yesterday, which announced that the settlement of Chugunovka in the Kharkiv region had also come under full Russian control.
The Kharkiv and Sumy regions, located in northeastern Ukraine, have remained focal points of intense military activity and cross-border shelling since the escalation of the conflict. Control over small settlements in these areas is often part of broader tactical maneuvers aimed at securing logistics routes and establishing buffer zones along the international border. Azerbaijan continues to monitor the situation closely, consistently advocating for a peaceful resolution based on the principles of international law and the territorial integrity of sovereign states.
