DSMF-nin xərcləri 431 milyon manat artdı

The State Social Protection Fund (SSPF), operating under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, reported that its revenues for January-July of this year reached 5.056 billion manats. This figure represents a 5 percent, or 239 million manat, increase compared to the initial forecast.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, mandatory state social insurance contributions accounted for a significant portion of these revenues, totaling 4.048 billion manats, which is 6 percent or 240 million manats above the projected target.

During the first seven months of the year, the SSPF's expenditures amounted to 4.811 billion manats. This marks a 10 percent, or 431 million manat, increase compared to the same period last year, reflecting the government's ongoing commitment to strengthening social welfare and pension support systems in Azerbaijan.

The SSPF plays a critical role in the country's social security architecture, managing pension funds and social insurance contributions. The increase in expenditures is largely attributed to the government's policy of indexing pensions and social benefits to keep pace with economic growth and inflation, ensuring that the standard of living for pensioners and vulnerable groups remains protected.
