The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed of the change by the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA). According to the agreement reached with FIFA, the match at the Mehdi Huseynzade Stadium in Sumgait will now start at 19:10 local time, instead of the previously scheduled 19:00.
The "FIFA Series" is a pilot project by world football's governing body, designed to provide national teams from different confederations with more opportunities to play each other. These friendly matches aim to support technical development and increase international exposure for teams that do not regularly compete against opponents outside their own continental zones.
