New reports suggest that construction has commenced on an underground facility in Iran's Alborz province, near the city of Karaj, which is allegedly linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that international media outlets have highlighted the development, citing recent satellite imagery analysis.
The geospatial intelligence company "Soar Atlas," analyzing imagery obtained by the US-based company Vantor, confirmed the construction of the new underground complex. According to the company, the construction activities began approximately on May 21.
While "Soar Atlas" stated in a social media update that the facility is likely associated with the IRGC, the exact purpose of the site and the nature of the activities planned there remain unconfirmed. Currently, there is no independently verified information regarding whether the facility is intended for military, missile, or other strategic purposes.
